Welcome to BT!

Fellow Newbie in training from 45 miles west of Austin.  Won my first competitive race (running) 30 years ago (and was hooked), and my last race (running) in December I finished 2nd over all in a half marathon of 240 runners.  Swimmer and Cyclist of 2 months.  Never trained or competed in cycling or swimming previously.  Will be completing the HITS 70.3 Triathlon in Marble Falls, TX the end of April.

Welcome to BT!  Hope you have fun with your new endeavor.  I'm also an "adult onset" swimmer.  Best thing you can do (if you're not already doing it) is to get some private swim lessons to help you with your form.  Also, there are a several BT athletes in Austin who do a variety of tri distances, from sprints to Ironmans.
