My first tri was June 7, 2009 where I rode a Marin roadie with Sora and cages on the pedals. I went shirtless on the swim, did wear tri shorts though, then actually put a tank top on in T1. You learn a few things after 5+ years, a lot here on BT thanks to all who have helped me (you KNOW who you are!). This is Christine. Maybe someday she'll be gussied up for a big gala event with some race wheels etc and yes, I know, chain not on the big ring among another rule or two not followed but that's just how we roll. Looking forward to season number six.

The biggest they have, size 61. My stack/reach is 592/435mm and it wasn't until 2013 when TT bikes could fit me so there was nothing used I could even find that fit. Finally Felt, then SHIV and Cervelo P5 (Not P2 or P3 huh?). I'm quite happy, this is probably the best all carbon TT bike (Ultegra) out there for under $2K new.

Yeah when you get fit to a bike that big your options go way down (I'm on a 61 too so can sympathize), and the used market is basically non-existent.

Sweet Ride! The thought of you getting even faster is a scary one indeed. Glad I'm not racing in Kansas any time soon. Have fun!!!

Awesome!  Congrats to you and Christine.  I love to see that kind of matchmaking...

Ummmm... you don't plan on racing aaaaaall the way down in Texas any time soon, though, right?

Congrats again - this will definitely help with the whole crushing thing!

It’s just so discouraging to know that within a few more weeks those New Years’ Resolutionists are going to quietly disappear.
