Hello everyone.  I will be in Tucson next week (Monday - Thursday) for work and I will be staying out by the airport.  Currently training for a HM in March and I am looking for recommendations on nice places to run in the area (probably just 3 or 4 miles but possibly up to 9 miles if time allows).

I would love to hit some trails if possible.

Thanks!

The Loop - our river paths: https://pimamaps.pima.gov/SilverlightViewer/Viewer.html?ViewerConfig=https://pimamaps.pima.gov/Geocortex/Essentials/REST/sites/theloopsite/viewers/theloopmap/virtualdirectory/Config/Viewer.xml

Saguaro East (and West!)

If you can swing it, you should head downtown on Monday for Meet Me at Maynard's for a fun run: http://www.meetmeatmaynards.com/

Also, you're not far from Reid park, which has a paved loop around it that's well-light and well-used for after-dark runs.

A Mountain (Sentinel Peak) and Tumamoc Hill provide some challenging climbs and awesome views. A Mountain is way more runnable. Tumamoc is more of a hike.

Yep pretty much what was said before.
The Loop will be closest for you. There's some good trails at Tucson Mountain Park too.
Actually my pic is from Wasson Peak in Tucson Mtn Park.

I ran the Julian Wash Greenway everyday from the Roy Schoonover Trailhead off Kolb Rd.  I really wanted to hit 'A' mountain but, unfortunately, I did not have enough time after work.

Thanks again for the information, you guys live in a beautiful state!!!!!

I started riding this spring with the Carnac shoes on Look pedals (with plenty of float). About five minutes into a ride I get sharp pain on the outer edge of my feet, just behind the pedal.
