Subject: RE: Hello from Abbotsford, BC Thanks for all the replys.
I do not have a complete training plan written in stone but I do have a training partner (Ronan ) that knows what he is doing. So i kind of go over what we are going to do each week and then do my best to complte it. I have found that up to 7 hours of training is doable (per week ) but getting closer to 10 hours is the current goal. Then of course increasing that some again.
I come from a Running Room background and run with the local club a couple of times per week if my schedule allows. As a shift worker sometimes getting the training in can be a challenge but finding someone to train with can really complicate things. So I do a fair bit of training solo.
I was scheduled for the "first half" (be my third year in a row ) but an illness sidelined me. Felt better by Tuesday so registered for the Fort Langley Historic Half and enjoyed that run. So I am happy I did get a half in.
Ronan has scoped out some riding routes that may be closer to the hilly course so we will starat road riding soon. 0 ave here I come!
