Subject: Timex Run Trainer issues
Just curious, I bought a Timex Run Trainer 1 GPS about 3 years ago (paid a hefty price for it) and used it for 2 years with no issues. This last year I was plagued with ankle injuries resulting in two surgeries over the course of 7 months. Now I am getting back into training so I grabbed the watch, plugged it in to charge and nothing happens. Left it to charge for a couple of hours and still nothing. Screen doesn't come back on, nothing. It's dead.
Does anyone know if the battery can be replaced easily? I have tried calling and emailing Timex but with all the snow back east, the only message I got was they where closed due to the snow storms.
Any thoughts or insight would be greatly appreciated.

I can't help with the battery issue, but I've had good experiences with Timex customer service. I sent my watch in, out of warranty, to get a GPS repair, and I swear they just sent me a new one, no charge.

I ended up sending it to timex for repairs. We'll see what happens.
