Hey All,
Has anybody used that tubular tire tape instead of glue? And if so what are your thoughts?

Yes and I prefer glue.

Tape is a nightmare to clean off later when you want to put a new tire on. Glue it's way easier to prep a 2nd time or to put a replacement tire on mid ride or race. Also think if you do a bunch of online research you will find that a taped tubular is slower than a well glued one.

Have used tape and glue in the past.
I found the tape to be more time consuming and it didn't feel like it had as good a hold on the tire as glue. I don't use tubs any more but if I ever go back I would use glue.

Definitely glue... tape is really difficult to remove and I've seen wheels being delaminated when the owner pulled the tape off.

Love the feeling of cycling on tubs. I just found the whole process of gluing too time consuming and lacked the confidence to race with them in case I had a flat. Think I was just not very good at doing it...
