Has anyone used this 6 months to an Ironman Basic Training Plan found on the IM site? Just curious if anyone has used it, what results were, if it's an overall decent plan.

I have seen it but have not used it.

I used Don Fink's plan and loved it!! so simple and so easy to schedule. I got to the starting and finish line feeling great both mentally and physically.

Are you thinking about switching plans for IMCDA? I assume you already started your IM training plan

Not thinking about switching necessarily, but I do like the simplicity of that Basic plan.  I might mix and match a bit.

I ask a similar question a couple months ago. The majority of answer i got were no, and people used the BT plans.

The schedule consists of 3 workouts per week in each sport, 2 days of strength training and core work too. The maximum volume is around 7 hours toward the end of the 12 weeks.

A Navy Seals program modified specifically for triathletes. This workout is DIFFICULT!!! The weight training portion alone may make you cry.
