I'm racing for a purpose this year. but i need help

I had a similar idea but for a different cause. I felt like the training and competition are a bit selfish as it takes time away from other aspects of my life. I have known a few Miracle kids and every one of them has demonstrated such courage and poise in the face of the challenges they face. I think your cause has great merit as well, I'm happy to support you.

Over here in the UK I too am raising money for the Alzheimer's Assoc. this year.
My partners mother passed away some years ago with Alzeimers and my mother has just been diagnosed with the illness!
I hope to raise £1000+ by completing an Olympic.

Good luck Gilch! Every little bit helps with this disease. The government in the US gives pennies to Alzheimer's research compared to cancer and other diseases.
