Their guesses included mating (??), friendship, some kind of symbiosis ("Maybe the weasel gets rides and in return it does something for the bird"), a young weasel being playful, and predation. I really had a hard time convincing them it was't photoshopped--guess it's good I'm cultivating skepticism. Accidentally told them it was photographed in Costa Rica (had looked up some bird species there around the same time) so guessing one of them will call me on it on Monday, |
