Subject: RE: Embarrassed I salute you!
It's hard to overcome the fears and anxiety, but it's also hard to get off the couch and train for a triathlon.
Do you have to train with that group? It does not sound motivating at all. Can you train by yourself? Put some music on, and keep going?
What kind of injuries are you experiencing? Do you have proper shoes? Did you talk to the specialis?
I had problems with my feet (huge pain after 30-40 minutes of running ), I spent tons of $$ for socks, shoes, lotions, etc, until I finally seek doctor's help and the reason was: too much tension in calves, which I solved by doing very simple stretching every day for 2 minutes. So there may be a solution, and perhaps you already have one
Anyways, do not think of others' thoughts. There will always be someone who is faster, who has better bike, or cooler gadgets. At the end of the day - you completed triathlon! And you're officially triathlete
