I have a question about aero position and before I ask yes I was fitted for my bike. When you first got your triathlon bike did it seem extremely twitchy because when I get down it seems I jump into the left lane automatically. Is there anyway I can stop this from happening?

WIll become second nature after a while, in fact riding any other bike might feel weird.

I never found mine twitchy but did take a bit of getting used to.

It wants to go in the left lane because it knows you'll be passing people now!

being off my tri bike in general always feels a bit more twitchy than my road bike...a few rides on it things get back to "normal"

so unless the fit is really off, this is just how a tri bike feels. Aero shifts the CG forward and that adds to the unstable feeling. You have to be careful when moving your shoulders / un-weighting your arms unequally as it can cause erratic maneuvers!

Where are the pads? I want to rest my arms!

The twitchiness does lessen and go away with more practice. You'll get used to how the bike responds to your movements and also not be as tense as you likely are now.
