3.29.15 Sunday Funday

Long brick here too.

3:30 ride with mix of tempo stuff. (First hour on trainer, remainder outside in oven. 97 at end.)
50 minute brick run.

Lying around in AC most of the rest of the day.

Can't say I love the big-ring burn. In fact, until I got the tri bike, pretty much anything I do on a bike about 15 mph felt like a bad Jane Fonda video. The new bike ups that threshold by a few mph though. Or maybe I just feel like I need to ride faster to justify the flash bike--placebo effect?

Good evening.

9am I got out for a very scenic 11 mile (planned) run, ended up being more like 12. Saw a coyote on the run, stopped for pics, which it obliged by sitting down and posing.

0650 - Got home from working midnight shift
0700 - Asleep on the couch, so as not to wake my lovely better half
0745 - Woken up by my beautiful 2 yr old daughter
0800 - traded places with my aforementioned beautiful wife and attempted sleep in the bed
0845 - after tossing and turning, went out to hang out with the fam jam
1130 - returned to bedroom and listened to some calming EDM (Skrillex, Dillon Francis, Diplo) to drone out my loud lovely family.
1200 - out cold
1915 - Wake up, shower, read my little lady some bedtime stories
2000 - head back to work for another Midnight shift.
