Hello BT! I am actually capable of sleeping in! But it is now time to get rolling! If my mountain bike is in good shape I might head out for a 1:30 ride. If not, back to the trainer! Then heading out to Blue Lake to swim--taking the girls along as well. Have a great day!

Woke up at 4am to let the cat out, then 15' later again as the dog was throwing up next to the bed.  Slept in until 7am and slowly got the day going making sure the kids were getting in sync for 1st day of school post spring break.  It was perfect weather for a 5k run with the dog, 55 degrees, he loved the cooler air too.

X

I went into the pool area (as this was a pool swim) and got body marked. That's when it hit me that I was there to race - this was not a clinic.

I have been able to swim 200-300 yards without stopping for the past couple of weeks, but this morning I couldn’t swim more than 50. Could not eating make a big differance?

This is not an easy task, especially for the “9-to-5er” with family. But you can do it – all without sacrificing your marriage, job or family.

Once you caught your breath, it occurred to you that finishing even a short triathlon might be harder than you thought. After a few "laps" you thought, "I can't believe I'm so out of shape."
