Subject: 2015 kestrel 4000 gearing question
the site says comes with 11 speed. Buddy of mine bought one for his wife 46 with the 650c wheels. do they come 11speed also. or 10spd. he counted and it was only ten when he went to swap out the wheel. He bought his wife new wheels and had 11speed cassette installed. any help.

If it came with 10 speed, then you can't just swap the cassette out to get 11... that would require new rear derailleur, chain, shifters (would recommend the front derailleur as well, although you can get away with using your 10 speed there) in addition to the cassette. To make things even more complicated, not all 10 speed hubs are 11 speed compatible.
