Very happy. Good swim for me.

Comments:

Good bike, solid energy whole way through, good job pacing (maybe, see run).
What would you do differently?:

Have brand new sunscreen so I don't run out mid race. Not shift like a dummy downhill into the park and drop my chain at mile 53.
Transition 2
  • 00m 76s
Run
  • 1h 49m 18s
  • 13.1 miles
  • 08m 20s  min/mile
Comments:

Hard, and felt legs become depleted. Walked several hills, focus became just to finish. Knew I wasn't going to win, kept in mind nobody but me cares about my finish time, and I care more about enjoying myself. Especially for first 70.3 and on this course. 5:37 good starting place.
What would you do differently?:

Be more fit. Modify Nutrition and hydration.

Experts agree, doing a “mock,” triathlon on the course you’re racing can aid you in your training; performance and most of all quell some nervous energy.
