Almost a month away. Who's doing it? This will be my first Olympic distance. I am getting excited.

How was it last year? Cold swim?

I did the My Way or the Tri way last year which is the same course as the sprint.

So half of it will not be a surprise.

Yes, Aurora Reservoir tends to run a bit cooler than the other open water lakes in the area for whatever reason and was still pretty chilly last year in early June. It seems like with our cool and rainy spring all of the lakes are cooler than last year at this point, so I'm guessing Aurora will be downright cold for Crescent Moon. Oh well, that's why they make wetsuits.
