Subject: Got a 910xt but BT site says I have a 310!

I'm so mad right now I can barely type. Not a joke.

I have tried this website a few years ago (2-3) I don't remember. Back then I had a Garmin 310 watch that uploaded some stuff. However, now that I'm trying the site again, I'm using a Garmin 910 and nothing will load properly. I can't change the model of the watch. I have uploaded ALL updates for watch, for ANT agent, for EVERYTHING that a human being could possibly update. I have previously been linked to Garmin Connect, but that just added more problems, so now I have tried to de-link or unlink that account

(oh and by the way, GOOD LUCK IF YOU WANT TO DELETE A GARMIN CONNECT ACCOUNT OR A GARMIN USER ACCOUNT, it isn't happening anytime in your lifetime!!!)

So I'm currently trying to continue unlinking the Garmin crap to this site. and trying to UPDATE MY MODEL of device, and to no luck. The reason it is so important is because half the time, this site won't recognize I have new data to upload so I have to manually upload.

I'm on a MAC using Mavericks, I have updated and checked updates on everything I can think of and I need some help if anyone can offer it before I throw this #@#$$#%& laptop and the watch and my bike and my kitchen table out the 3rd story window where I live.

Technology sucks. I'm getting ready to go back to simply just busting my balls during workouts with nothing more than a bike computer and saying "yip that seems harder than yesterday" because this site is adding stress to my once simple life. Anyone got any ACTUAL ideas other than wise cracks and quips about my anger issues? :-p

First of all, what browser are you using for the uploader?  There have been a few instances where just switching to a different browser when updating Garmin and ANT stuff seems to get it to work.

I 'delinked' the current Garmin Ohcaptain on BT's end and it seemed to delink fine.

 
Try this now, delete all cookies and temporary internet files on your browser.  Login back to BT, go to 'settings' --> 'training log settings' --> 'device upload' and 'relink' to your Garmin Connect account.  Since you cleared your browser, you should be required to put in login info for GC ohcaptain1 account.
 
Let me know if that works.
