Columbia Triathlon : Official Thread

Race production outfit (UCF) has configured Columbia primarily as an "event" more so than a race, so I don't think a pro wave is even a faint consideration in their future planning. It's a different event now, for better or worse, and the market will give it the thumbs up or down in the next few years. You can throw out the numbers for last year's race as UCF rescued it at the last minute and didn't have much opportunity to show what the are capable of. This years numbers however, are telling, and they are the beginning of the UCF record. The above is, of course, nothing more than my opinion.
