Good morning BT!

It's not raining here yet so I'm heading out for a 16 miler through our beautiful desert trails--I may get caught in some rain, I may not--either way it'll be an adventure! If the rain holds off, I'll head out to Blue Lake for a 2 mile swim. Come to think of it, it might be kind of fun to swim in the rain!

Have a wonderful Sunday!

Have a great run! For some reason just didn't feel like riding outside this AM even though I woke up early, so put in two hours on the trainer with some intervals while watching videos of New Zealand and Switzerland. Then went out for a 30 minute run. Oddly, felt really good. It's the first run since the HIM two weeks ago that hasn't been a slog or suck-fest. No idea why. 30 minutes of strength stuff PM.

Swimming in the rain is fun, assuming no thunderstorms. I do it all the time at home in Oregon. (Swimming in snow....not so much. Like someone dropping ice cubes into the pool.)

Good morning!

Soaking up all the good weather here in AZ before the heat settles in - a week from today it's supposed to be 106 degrees - yikes! Time for summer!

Nothing for me today - rest day and felt so good to sleep in.

Had a great 52 mile ride yesterday with a friend - actually felt like my legs had some pep in them and took advantage!

Have a great swim Kim and great workouts everyone!

I'm supposed to do a 6 miler today but the lightning outside is really throwin a wrench into my running gears. Hoping to get it in later in the day.

The weather was dreary this morning but it cleared up around 2 o'clock.
I squeezed in a 4 mile run this afternoon and it was hot and humid. I know it'll
be tons hotter this summer but I'm used to 70 degrees and today it was low 80's.

Rest day today with church in the morning, and rain all day long.

I went into the pool area (as this was a pool swim) and got body marked. That's when it hit me that I was there to race - this was not a clinic.

I have been able to swim 200-300 yards without stopping for the past couple of weeks, but this morning I couldn’t swim more than 50. Could not eating make a big differance?

This is not an easy task, especially for the “9-to-5er” with family. But you can do it – all without sacrificing your marriage, job or family.

Once you caught your breath, it occurred to you that finishing even a short triathlon might be harder than you thought. After a few "laps" you thought, "I can't believe I'm so out of shape."
