Hi, I just got a "new to me" Garmin 910XT which came with all sorts of goodies like foot pod and bike sensors. It's in great condition and seems to work well, the only problem is the original owner had a velcro strap put on it which barely fits my wrist. I am trying to find an option other than ordering the $25 piece of "long" Garmin velcro. Anybody know of a third-party strap that would fit these?

A regular watch band wont work because the mounts change when the velcro strap is added to this watch, and the seller didn't have the original mount.

I have not done it yet, but I plan to craft my own for my Fenix 3. A strip of neoprene (from the ankle my wetsuit, which I intend to trim a bit) + some velcro purchased at a craft store should do the trick. It will probably cost about 5 bucks total. My wife does some mending, so I'm sure she can put it together easily.

I don't have the 910xt, but it looks like a NATO or zulu style watch strap is a good option for that fixed bar design (if you don't want to go the velcro route).

I have this very annoying IT band pain in my left knee only. It comes and goes out of nowhere. Last year I had it and took three months off and now slowly started back up.

I have a tight IT band on my left leg, but my right knee's pain is in a slightly different area, more in the joint, on the outside of the knee. Is this still an IT band issue?

So lately when I run after about 3 miles I get a nasty pain on the outside of my knee area. I have been assuming it is IT band syndrome? What can I do to help this?
