Subject: when to do Bricks The triathlon I'm planning to do this summer is July 18 and it's a super sprint (200m / 8 miles / 2.1 miles ). I'm going to miss about 2-3 full weeks of training between June 15 - July 5 b/c of a summer camp I will be at + a minor surgery I will need a week to recover from.
My question for BT is when should I schedule my Bricks. I'd like to get at least two, maybe three, before the race, just to remind myself of what it feels like.
I'm running 5 miles with a friend tomorrow, and could get the bike distance in before we run, especially since the weather looks real favorable (cool and cloudy ).
Is this weekend too soon to start doing bricks, or is now as good a time as any?
