Subject: RE: Funny things kids say - tri edition When my girls were young (now 22, twins) and heading into their first track meet/event in grade school, my wife and I talked to them about giving their best, that it's possible to win if you give it your all etc. Standard parental motivational speech in other words.. Anyway, not long after that I was preparing for a tri and one of them asked me what I thought my chances were of winning, to which I responded no chance... They both immediately told me that I needed to stay positive and give my all because I could win if I had confidence in myself... My words tasted just fine... Edited by TriMike 2015-06-04 8:42 AM
