New user  150  |  Subject: Garmin 310XT automatic upload - can't change "Other Sport" to swimThe long drop down menu (Sport - *Device Upload) does not offer swim as a choice. How can I setup my "Other Sport" activities to be added as swims? |

You can set it up so that Garmin recognized the 'other' as 'swim' and it will automatically get transferred here. http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/cms/article-detail.asp?articleid=1504 OR using the method you are trying to use, if you can get access to the file itself, you can do a 'manual upload' and that will work. |

Everything transfers well, but my swims appear as "Sport" (see image attached, the 53 min activity is a swim) Should I choose - custom sport? I thought there is a setting to identify those workouts as they come through to Garmin Connect before it makes it's way to BT. Let me know, if this isn't the case, I may need to do a little programming to move that sport to a swim. |

New user 150 | Subject: RE: Garmin 310XT automatic upload - can't change "Other Sport" to swim On Garmin Connect it appears as an "Open Water Swim" at first, then I just go and change it for "Lap Swimming" if my workout was at the pool. I usually change it as soon as it is uploaded to GC and before it makes its way to BT. I will upload today's swim this evening when I get home. I won't change the workout until it transfers on BT, just to see what happens. |

However, it doesn't ever show up as imported from Garmin Connect, whereas running and cycling do. I do have the same issue with Strength Training though. Strength profile on Garmin Connect comes through as a "Sport Activity". |

This shouldn't take too long as we already have related fixes. |
