Too slow to race (Page 2)

I just did my first tri (super-sprint at that) and my goal was to finish. Period. I ended up with a few people finishing behind me so that made it even more of a confidence builder but no matter my place, I finished and that was my goal. And I had an absolute amazing time and immediately knew that triathlons are for me!

There are always people who ask "what place did you get??" as soon as they hear I ran any "race". My reply is always the same... "I beat every single person who was sitting on their couch watching TV."
