Had a good time overall but suffered quite a bit during the last 40 miles because of blistering. My feet got wet and muddy early on and never really dried out.
What would you do differently?:

Not get injured in the critical two training months right before the race.

Had a good time overall but suffered quite a bit during the last 40 miles because of blistering. My feet got wet and muddy early on and never really dried out. The last 8 or so miles was pretty painful and my watch died as well so I didn't know how much time and distance I had left but knew it wasn't much. People were passing me like crazy. I did end up with over 200 pictures though.

I can train for half marathons on pavement and on trails, but as soon as I change it up to gravel or loose dirt my knee swells and the pain it causes is unreal. Any ideas why this happens?
