Subject: Doing my first Oly. How does my training change?
This is my third year doing tris. I've done three sprints each for the last two years and two already this year. I have a month between my sprint and my oly. What should change in my training?

On good weeks I've been putting in close to 10 hours of training. I've been training every day, trying to get in 2 -3 swims per week, 2 - 3 bikes per week and 1 - 2 runs per week. For swimming the workouts are pretty close to the same, trying to do some technique, some fast, some medium and some drills each time. For biking I try to do a long, a hard, and a threshold per week. For running I try to do a hard, a threshold and maybe a long slow run.

Any advice would be appreciated. BTW, I've look at the training schedules on the site and most of them require two sessions for some days and my schedule doesn't allow that.

I'm going to let you in on how to get faster by doing nothing. Well, not exactly nothing, but you won't have to raise your heart rate, put out 300 watts, or really even break a sweat.

I quickly browsed an article in Men's Health that talked about doing a triathlon, and how it wasn't really that hard. With a "tsk!" I quickly turned the page while thinking, "Yeah, right!"
