Subject: Good, affordable swim goggles
Swim goggles that fit my big head/wide face seemed to be the holy grail. I have researched it, ordered expensive goggles on line, still not really happy. Then I lost a pair of those expensive goggles, but did not cry too much because the vision in those goggles was suffering (sorry, don't remember the brand). I went to Costco last weekend and saw a pack of three adult goggles by Speedo for under $20. (Description: ultra-soft goggles with wide-angle lenses for maximum vision). I did not expect to be blown away, I figured they would tide me over until I replaced my "nicer" goggles. However, I am really impressed. Great find - seems so simple in terms of gear, but nothing distracts me more than water seeping into my googles during a swim. The seal is terrific, so is the vision, very easy to adjust. I don't think I can ask for more.

I picked up the 3 pack at Costco a while back. They seem to be every bit as good as the individual pair of Speedo goggles I bought for $20 at the sporting goods store. If nothing else, it's worth buying just for extras to throw in your gym bag(s).

In 2013 at a local full distance race they were giving away Zoggs goggles to registered athletes.

They turned out to be perfect for me and they lasted almost two years when I lost them.  Fortunately, a friend I swim with got one of the free goggles and didn't want them so I was grateful to take them.  Hope this pair will last just as long.
