Subject: Brick training in Philly
I will be spending this weekend in Philadelphia and I have a brick training scheduled for Sunday (25km-3km B-R x 2), and was wondering where is a good location for this type of training, either in the city or its surroundings. I appreciate the help

How far are you riding? Without knowing exactly where your staying I'd say Kelly Dr. That's right by the art museum. Only hitch is there's a concert there tonight for 4th of July so there may be barriers and such blocking your way a bit around the museum.

I'd be riding 2 25km (15miles) rides with a 2 mile run in between and after second bike ride. Probably will do on Sunday

I'll stick with Kelly Dr. It will get crowded as it gets later in the day. But I believe there's places for you to lock your bike near boat house row. Not the best for bike training but the run along the water there is great.

Thanks for the recommendation. I ended up riding from where I was staying (near Betsy Ross Bridge) to the Museum of Art and through Martin Luter King Jr Drive (which was closed to cars) and back through the Schuykill River Trail to UPenn and back. So I did the 50Km straight and ran around where I was staying after.

Really nice scenery around the Schuykill River, definitely changed my view of the city.
