 239  |  Subject: 1st podium!It came as a complete surprise! Earlier in the year I had planned to do the Oly at this event. When I finally registered, I didn't feel my training/fitness was up to the Oly so I registered for the Sprint. This event was where I ran my first ever tri 2 years ago so I thought I could at least compare my fitness levels. Upon completion, I went to check my time. As I was looking at splits, something caught my eye... AG finish: 2/11. What?! I figured once more data was in I would somehow drop down. Once the results were official, I ended up 2/44. In retrospect, it looks like the sprint choice was a wise one.
