I am not - and I know it's a big race weekend coming up! But I love to hear all about your races - so are you racing this weekend? How are you feeling?

Good luck!!

Tri at the Grove (local Oly) tomorrow. Hope it goes okay. It's been only two weeks since I did a HIM. Swim and bike have been going well, but yesterday was the first day in those two weeks that I felt like I was running rather than waddling. We'll see. It's a beautiful venue and the only race within an easy (25-30 minute) drive of home that I'm around for, so a sentimental favorite.

Music City (Nashville, of course) triathlon - sprint. 400 meter swim in the Cumberland River, 14 mile bike and a 5k run. It will be fun...3rd year for me.

Last weekend I did the Kelowna Across the Lake Swim, and this weekend it's a Half Marathon!!

My wife is also racing this, it'll be her first official half!

Looking forward to it as I ramp up to Challenge Penticton!

I had a sprint in Oregon, IL this morning...took 4th place and was very happy with bike and run. Tune up for Steelhead in 2 weeks.

I'm doing the toll tag sprint tri in Lewisville TX (Dallas area). It's my first OWS tri so I'm nervous and excited. I've only done one with a pool up till now.

I did my first Tri at age 55. It was a 50 mile event (1-40-9) in Tulsa,Ok and actually won my age group. I feel like a kid in a candy store!!

Mine is a sentimental favorite too since it's my first triathlon venue and only about a 90 minute drive from home. However, my favorite part of the race weekend is the grilled Maine lobster reward after the race.

Enjoy! I assume it's tomorrow! Lobster sounds better than the burritos offered at my race. Had some gu-related nausea issues on the bike and burrito just didn't sound like it would hit the spot. Anyway, it went well--7 minute PB. Finally have beaten the bad-luck curse for a few races in a row! Best of luck tomorrow.

Congrats on finishing your first tri! I saw you are signed up for the full at Redman. That ought to be a big confidence builder for Redman!
