Subject: Replacement for garmin connect
I used the new garmin connect the other day and am not to happy with it. The way this year has went I have done almost all my tracking on Trainer Road. When I ran I left the Garmin home and just enjoyed running.

So I bought a power meter for my Tri bike and finally used the garmin and did not like the new connect.

What are others using beside that?

Joe

You can still use Classic on Garmin Connect. On the far left, there's an outline of a person...click that and you'll be able to switch over. The way I use it, I much prefer the Classic (old version).

I've had the same experience with Garmin Connect. I wound up linking mine to Strava and to BT to upload workouts automatically from my 310xt. As a result, I hardly look at Garmin Connect anymore.

If you are using power you should take a look at Training Peaks premium and use it with something like Golden Cheetah for deeper analysis

Keep having your workouts auto sync with Garmin Connect that auto-syncs with TP and you can easily sync with GC.

Garmin Connect is the website. Garmin Express is the fairly new syncing program. This is the one that does the autosync with the devices, plug the device into the computer and it will upload the new files to the Garmin Connect site. Other sites can be synced with Garmin Connect and automatically download the files from that site, like BT, Strava, or Training Peaks.

Thanks All

I am thinking that Training Peaks will get a shot.

I decided that, after having a new hip put in 11 months ago, I needed a new lifestyle. Just wondering if there's anything that I should know about-especially for the running and biking.

If one muscle has restrictions it can limit the range of motion on the connecting joint and have a domino effect as that tension and restriction is carried down the chain.
