Subject: Ramseur Lake Triathlon?
Just looking down the road a bit - I completed my first sprint distance last weekend - is it too much of a reach to think about an Olympic distance in just a bit more than 7-weeks (Sept 19)? I'm sure I can do the bike and run distance - not blisteringly, but I can complete them. But going from a 750 meter swim that I was really slow at to a 1500 meter swim..? Would I be dumb to sign up for this..or should I just train for it and sign up for it as a walk-on if I feel my fitness will work? After the Buckner Mission Man setting - the Ramseur Lake setting does look nice. My only worry is that it doesn't look like it gets a ton of entrants..so my poor performance will probably stand out like a sore thumb..LOL...

The triathlon made a lot of sense as I could fit the training around early mornings and other times that wouldn't eat too much into my family time. Things never go completely to plan do they?
