Subject: RE: 8.2.15 Sunday Funday! Glad you are feeling back to it. Being kind of lazy this week with no hard workouts. (After a HIM and an Oly--both major PB's-- in two weeks, I think I need a bit of down time ). Think I put Sunday in Saturday's thread. LOL. Have to remember I am 12-15 hours ahead of all of you in North America. Anyway, 52 minutes of running and 40 minutes of strength stuff yesterday after negotiating another year's gym membership.
I tried Insanity for awhile with some runner colleagues last year and it was a real workout. Felt like it really helped my run efficiency at higher speeds. Unfortunately the plyo stuff really aggravates some issues with my feet, so I wasn't able to keep it up. Maybe just don't have proper shoes for it or something.
Last day of vacation today. Have a bunch of errands to do and probably will go into work later (moving into new classroom; hopefully can get a swim in this PM ). |
