Good morning BT Peeps!

8:00am:  35 min run with intervals

8:45am:  Insanity Plyo Cardio + core

I am now 5 weeks post Ironman CDA and am really starting to feel like myself again.  I added in the Insanity for more high intensity training to drop the weight I put on with all my low intensity looooooong training sessions.  I'm beginning to recognize my body again  :-)  In four weeks I have to wear 'real' clothes again for school so I definitely have motivation!

Have a great day!

Glad things are returning to normal Kim!!

Today is rest day for me! Should have been a rest week but I ended up teaching 7 classes over the course of the week and participated in a Spin a Thon for charity yesterday. I rode for 3 hours and then taught for an additional hour. It was an amazing day but I was wiped out at the end!

Slept for almost 10 hours last night and now just trying to enjoy the day, errands and getting things done!

One more week for us and then the kids are back to school. Bittersweet - I love having them home but it's hard to juggle training and keeping them busy!

Ran a 3.5 mile hilly route this morning. Very pleased to have taken 1.50 off. More work to be done, I've signed up for a half marathon in October

Glad you are feeling back to it. Being kind of lazy this week with no hard workouts. (After a HIM and an Oly--both major PB's-- in two weeks, I think I need a bit of down time). Think I put Sunday in Saturday's thread. LOL. Have to remember I am 12-15 hours ahead of all of you in North America. Anyway, 52 minutes of running and 40 minutes of strength stuff yesterday after negotiating another year's gym membership.

I tried Insanity for awhile with some runner colleagues last year and it was a real workout. Felt like it really helped my run efficiency at higher speeds. Unfortunately the plyo stuff really aggravates some issues with my feet, so I wasn't able to keep it up. Maybe just don't have proper shoes for it or something.

Last day of vacation today. Have a bunch of errands to do and probably will go into work later (moving into new classroom; hopefully can get a swim in this PM).

Feeling confident and cocky, after finally losing some weight, I got off my back side and into triathlon.
