Subject: Zoot Z-Force or Xterra Vortex? I'll be completing my third triathlon at the end of August and I've decided to stop paying for $50 rentals and to instead invest in my own wetsuit. I'm a fairly weak swimmer (breast stroke is way easier for me than freestyle, though I've been working on it ), so added buoyancy is important. Also, my teacher's salary barely pays for my races, so paying more than $200 for a wetsuit is out of the question.
My body:
Height: 5'2"
Weight: Currently 112; fluctuates 105-115 depending, so 110 would be average
Body type: "pear-shape" (smaller top, wide hips )
I've rented a Zoot size small in the past and it has worked just fine for me. On swimoutlet.com, the Zoot Z-Force is $200 (absolute highest of my wetsuit price range ) and the Xterra Vortex is $150. I like that the Xterra is $50 cheaper, but swimoutlet.com doesn't have a sizing chart for it, which makes me a bit nervous.
What are your thoughts/experiences with these two wetsuits? Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thank you!
