Subject: Cervelo P2 105 10 or 11 speed?
I need your opinion on a bike purchase. I'm newish to triathlons and I've been riding a specialized roubaix 10 speed. I want to upgrade and I really like he newer Cervelo P2. Here's the question. My LBS has a P2 w 10 speed 105 for $2100 or the 11 speed for $2800 that I might be able to work him down a little on. Do you think the new 11 speed 105 is worth the extra cost or should I go with the 10 speed?

Personally, I think the $700 difference could be spent WAY better on wheels, tires, a helmet, computer, power meter, trainer, registration fees...really anywhere else. If it was $100-200, maybe it'd be worth it, but that's a lot of money for a marginal, questionable "upgrade." Even an upgrade from 105 to Ultegra or DA would be a better investment, although again, in my opinion, marginal...and I'm a DA kool aid drinker.

Thanks for the info. I think I'll go for the 10 and use the extra $ for accessories.
