Subject: RE: This is what 3:20/100 looks like - Help! First word of advice: join a good Master's program. Solid coaches will be able to diagnose and fix the problem super quickly. In my first session I improved from a DNF/100 (basically ) to 2:06/100.
Now, I am not a coach, but the first thing that I'm noticing is that you're not balanced in the water. Your legs are sinking. There's a bit that goes into that including which muscles you're using, but probably the biggest thing YOU can do to fix that right now is to tuck your chin. When your head's down, your legs will rise. When you breathe, turn your head without lifting it. If your head it streamlined with the rest of your body, you will have created a bow wave which will give you a nice air pocket to breathe in without lifting out of the water (do a google image search "bow wave swimming" to see what I'm talking about ).
Hope I didn't confuse you more. But yes. Find a Masters program where they don't ignore beginners. Even if it's just for a month, that will help you more than you know.
