Subject: Newbie First Sprint Bike Question
First sprint tri this Saturday, nervous as heck, but excited. Got my athletes guide today, and it says "athletes are required to know the bike course". Umm, I've never been to this place, and will see the course for the first time when I'm out of the water (hopefully still breathing) and on my bike. Olympic, Dualathon and Sprint going at same time.....

Will the course be marked enough, or do I really have to know where I'm going?

If this is a newbie stupid question, feel free to make fun...

Check the website for the race. It should have a map of the bike course That you can see. Just get familiar with it. Should be some instructions either on the site or that will be told in the prerace speech. It could be a loop course where the sprint is 1 or two loops and the oly is 2 or 4 loops. Also see if you can find a race report or review online.
