Subject: How to log swim kick?
I have a Garmin 920XT and it doesnt recognize my swim kick drills. I never bothered before but now im going to use the BT training plans and everytime theres a kick drill involved the plan says i didnt complete my weeks training. I log to Garmin Connect and that syncs to BT. How can i edit my workuts so that its correct? (i dont mind edit it after my workout).

If you go to 'training log' --> 'my log' you should have a dropdown to 'edit activity'.  If you use the calendar view, you should be able to just click on the sport to edit it.

It seems that if I swim that slow I begin to sink and I have to either kick or pull harder to compensate while my heart-rate starts going up. I find myself kicking too hard trying to keep afloat.

Good swimming is relaxed swimming. Relaxed swimming depends on practicing the best techniques and the best body position.
