Subject: Flo 30 vs Stock wheels
Hey Guys,

I've got more of a budget/ is it worth the money question.

I'm riding a Felt s32 (2007) with standard Shimano R500's. I want better wheels, but with a 1 year old at home there's not much disposable income. I thinking the Flo 30's might be a good choice for the budget and still give me a bit of aero/ weight savings vs. the r500's. So... is it worth it for the $400ish dollars to go there, or should I just save it for other upgrades (ie... power meter, new bike etc.)

Thanks for the input!

From what I've read, since it's not THAT deep, it's a great training wheel.

I'd buy a used set of something deeper.

I found a used set of bontrager aura 5, 50 mm with aluminum brake track and carbon fairing for $600 ( canadian, so less than 500 US right now ) and the difference was like night and day.

It also looks a lot nicer too

Throw on a disc cover, and you've got a great flexible wheelset for a variety of conditions.
