Yes they are pretty easy to find. A friend of mine went down to the LBS and bought an old beat up one they had laying around for $25 which works perfect for him as a trainer wheel. Here is one I found on ebay after searching for less than 5min for $29.99. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Shimano-Rear-Wheel-Wh-r540-700c-Clincher-10...

^^^ This right here... heck if you've got a good relationship with your LBS (you do, don't you?) you can probably go down there with a 6 pack and they'll toss you one for free.

Some of the bigger races your can rent wheels. I have a stock entry level QR. Would it be worth it to rent wheels at a bigger race for a half iron?

I read somewhere about "bar ends" to put on your handle bars, do you recommend them? Is this similar to adding clip on aero bars?

My back wheel needs to be trued up. It has a slight side-to-side wobble, and I feel at times like I'm going to lose control when I ride. Is this something that I should only trust to my LBS to do?

The wheels are my first area of concern and I have started to shop around. I find it nauseating to think of spending the same amount for wheels as my bike. Any help?

Don't know how to take that rear wheel off of your bike? Is the chain making things difficult? Learn how to remove your rear wheel if you have to change your bike tire or fix a flat.

Bike upgrades to gain speed: better wheelsets, a tri-bike, road bike with aerobars, even getting rid of those love handles before getting that lighter bike.
