Go to the DC Rainmaker site, there's more information than you'll ever need.

I think the two biggest concerns are budget and how much you want the computer to do. There are computers as basic as speed/distance/time to an advanced BT/ANT+/GPS/HRM/Power/Cadence computer...only you know what features you really need.

That said, there's some pretty good prices on the Garmin 500, since it's a few generations old, and it's a great all around computer. Pricier models do more, cheaper ones do less, but it's pretty close to the "sweet spot" in my opinion.

Garmin 520. Its the latest of Garmin's 500 series computers which is probably the most popular workhorse computer for triathletes/cyclists.

How do you determine VO2 max for cycling? I have my HR zones from a time trial, but don't know how to get VO2 max out of that.

Known for its brutal cadences, nasty sprints and 12-minute hills, the spin class seems to be the perfect substitute for a raunchy ride outside. But is it?
