Subject: Runner's Knee
Has anyone had runner's knee and if so, any tips/tricks for getting rid of it? I was out for my long run on Sunday and around mile 10 my knee started feeling tight and was really bothering me. I took a few Advil and tried stretching it out but it still feels tight. I have my 1st HIM in 2 weeks so I'm planning on keeping my runs to a minimum before my race but I'd hate to have it act up again. For the record, I'm not a doctor and I've self diagnosed it to be runners knee.

I have it right now. I have the luxury of not having a tri scheduled until March, though. Actually, I don't HAVE to do that one, either. I can wait mine out. I am doing some stretching and strength training. These seem to work the best (see photo).

You really have 2 choices.....

1. Anti-inflammatories

2. DNS

I'm not being dramatic. If it were me, I'd run the race. I have good NSAIDS, though
