I've done 2 B2B and 1 White Lake half ironmans. Looking for a recommendation for 2016 70.3 race in the southeast. Thanks

Augusta, Chattanooga, Raleigh, and (when announced) Hilton Head.

Augusta is good race with a SUPER FAST swim, fair bike, and flat run.
Chattanooga has a fast swim.
Raleigh swim is not fast, and the bike and run are fair.
Hilton Head ?

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I'll look into Augusta.

If you've done White Lake and B2B you're not locked in to Ironman branded races. In that case I'd very highly recommend Lake Logan the first weekend of August. The location is beautiful, just to the west of Ashville and it's a great venue with an icy wetsuit legal swim, a good bike course and a double out and back run course going uphill on the way out and downhill on the return. Check the Setup Events site for details.

This half Ironman plan covers many weeks of challenging, but attainable training for someone who has some endurance experience, and ideally some Olympic distance races within the past season.
