Happy Halloween everyone!

I had a super consistent training block this month and I'm feeling great and ready to tackle Ironman Arizona with great confidence!

Swim: 8h 46m 27s - 23991 Yd
Bike: 40h 12m 30s - 681.14 Mi
Run: 27h 21m 44s - 143.76 Mi

I didn't swim as much as last month but I sure biked and ran my butt off, hehehe!

How did your October training month go?

=^.^=

That is a lot of running--wow!

Nothing spectacular for me here. Just maintenance stuff interrupted by an 8-day vacation in Laos (no swim and no bike, a couple of runs):

Swim 7h14m23s (24,100m)
Bike: 12h 50m01s (where'd that second come from??) All trainer, I think.
Run: 12h20m33s

Plus about 16 hours of kayaking on the trip. That ought to count for something.

Swim: 6h 16m 15s - 18100 Yd

Bike: 10h 14m 29s - 198.8 Mi

Run: 12h 25m 09s - 102.2 M

Really solid month. The first time I've hit 100 miles of running in almost a year.

I guess it helps when the pool is downstairs in one's workplace. I seem to have trouble finding my bike, or at least getting it onto a road, though. I don't think I've ridden outside since August--seriously! Either it's raining, or I'm too busy and riding the trainer is just more efficient.

I'm lucky I have a few choices where I am including a few open water swim options.

Ughhh... the trainer. Don't like it that much but love how it benefits quality type training.

Roland, great month of work. That's a lot of hours on the road running and biking. funny, we biked almost the same exact miles, probably on many of the same roads. You are ready for AZ.

I was very happy with Oct. Got in almost every scheduled workout. Missed one swim and recovery run traveling for funeral.

Swim: 10h 36m 25s - 32108.47 Yd
Bike: 37h 06m 14s - 681.35 Mi
Run: 17h 21m 03s - 121.5 M
