Hi All - I was hoping some of you could provide some recommendations for a good TT bike in the 2000-2500 price range.

One that fits you properly! Seriously, get a fitting and you should be provided with a list of models that will best fit you.  That $ range is the meat of the market so you can find plenty of good bikes in that price range. (Barring that I'm a Felt guy so Felt!)

^This, seriously.

You could get a 15,000 superbike, and have it not fit, and be WAY slower than an entry level bike tri bike that fits properly and puts your body in a more aerodynamic position.

The least aerodynamic part of the system by FAR is the person riding it, not the bike itself.

As already mentioned, find the brand/size that fits you best, but each of the major manufacturers should have a model that is in that price range.  Some may require a sale, but close enough to that range where people have bought them under $2500 brand new.

Cervelo P2
Cannondale Slice 105
Felt B14
Giant Trinity Advanced
Fuji Norcom Straight 2.5
BMC TimeMachine 105
Specialized Shiv Elite
Trek Speed Concept 7.0
Quintana Roo cd0.1 105
Scott Plasma 10

My bike was $750 used with no wheels.

I have replaced nothing but the chain and cassette as it's worn.

I recently won the last local time trial of the season with it.

Cost means little other than the very pointy end, as opposed to the fit ^_^

I picked up an Orbea Ordu - 2014 w/Ultegra for $2500. As has been said though, that was after meeting with a fitter and determining what some good options were for my build and flexibility. Then back to the fitter post purchase to have the fit dialed in.

Bottom line is there are tons of options in that price range. Start with an understanding of what some good options might be and which geometries are just not right for you. Then find what you like and get it properly fitted. When I got my bike I was with the fitter so long I thought I was going to have to pay rent. We tweaked and adjusted for over four hours. But the bike has always felt great.

Whenever this question comes up 'fit' is always the first consideration everyone mentions. There's a reason for that.

Happy hunting.

This plan is designed to make you go faster. 3 workouts per week in each sport, 2 days of strength training and core work. The maximum volume is around 10 hours toward the end of the 12 weeks.

This plan is an advanced plan in terms of volume and intensity and appropriate for someone who is looking to go under 5:00 and as fast as 4:30. There isn’t a lot of fluff in the plan.

Executing this full Ironman plan for 17 weeks would give people with one Ironman under their belts very good preparation for a 2nd and 3rd. Preferably, you should have a 6:30 or faster HIM time.
