Subject: would my wetsuit still be okay?
I purchased a wetsuit about 4 years ago, but ever wore it because I took a break from training for a few years. It has always been stored indoors, but was folded inside a plastic bin with my other sporting gear all those time. Would it still be okay to use? Are there things I can check to confirm that it is okay?

Others with more expertise can provide more specific info, but generally ... it ought to be fine.

Before trying it on, though, a suggestion I have read posted online by a well-known manufacturer (De Soto) is to soak the suit in water for a day or so. This re-hydrates it, helping to restore its resilience to tears and other damage.
So, soak it, try it on, and if it still fits , you should be good to go.

If it is too small, you have 2 options - replace it, or bust yer butt getting back to your previous weight

I would think it would be okay but as mentioned I would throw it in the bath tub for a bit.
