I'm late but right now I'm clapping wildly, cheering loudly, and just cued up the song "Born to Run". Way to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WTG!!!!!

780.2 for me. I think I'll make the 1,000 miles before year-end but pretty sure won't make my goal of 1225. After my November marathon, I get the feeling I'll go thru a slump - like I normally do.

Finally reached projected annual mileage above 700. Maybe I can make it to 800. Broken toe I had earlier this year may have set me back at least a couple hundred miles. I'm still gonna get as close to 1000 as I can!

Oh Goodness, I've just realized that I've got to get moving to make the 1000 miles. At 937. Barely ahead of rabbit but won't stay ahead if I keep up with the recent inertia.

How is every one else doing?

I think I may hit 1500 for the year! Of course I've done no swim and minimal bike this year.

Not going to make 1000, but should be a record run year for me.  Congrats on all those who are on track to hit their goal!

I'm a little over 600 right now, so definitely not going to make it this year unfortunately. Had I been going at the rate that I've been going since last summer, I would have likely been around or over 1500 for this year, but I had a lot of other things going on in my life during the last half of this year that took time away from my runnin shoes. I focused a lot more on my career which paid off for me in a great way, so now that I've got all that hard work out of the way, I'm really looking forward to getting as much running in as I can, while still doing everything else. Congrats to everyone for all the miles logged. Finish out December on a high note!

The end of the year is fast approaching. Be sure to log your distances.

So I made it to 1000 - but that's km not miles.

My current total is 665 miles and I will probably get in one more run before the end of the year.
I haven't given much thought to running goals this year. There was a period during the summer when I was not able to run so I tried to focus on other activities that I enjoy.

This is in no way intended to diminish the accomplishment of those that extended themselves and met (or didn't meet) their running goals. 1000 miles is a nice achievement - congratulations to everyone that reached this milestone!

Happy New Year.

1000km is still pretty good man! I didn't make it to 1000 miles either due to damn injuries. Tried to get to 800 but my right patella got inflamed. Onto next year's 1000 mile goal!

Last run of the year completed. I ended up running 1345.50 miles in 2016. Not a bad total.

Happy New Year all!  I made 704 this year.  Second highest total ever for me.  My training always tends to drop off after my fall HM so I lose a lot of ground on the ol' rabbit.  There is always 2017!  Congrats to all!

Soon after I got married, I decided I needed to get motivated to work out and focus on getting back into shape. I could barely jog a quarter-mile without needing a walk break.

I think quite truly for the first time I 'get it'. It's not just about the fitness. It's not just about the great little endorphin rush as you hit 5, 10, 15 miles...its not just the medal at the end.
