Another Newb in northern california

Hey all, New here. Decided to venture into doing my first tri. Just got a kestrel talon for a tri bike. Used but its what I could afford at the time as I just build a carbon road bike recently. I think it will be sufficient for now. Im going next week to get a pro fit done. After I was hurt in the marine corps I ballooned up to 262pounds and im only 5'7", so as you can imagine I was big. Ive lost 104 pounds and about where I need to be now. I could lose another 10-15 to get into proper form. Cant wait to learn more about training and get started!
