Subject: Low Carb Dinner approach

I couldn't do it, as I'd feel like I was starving.  And, while the test showed improvements, I"m not sure that they mechanism is correct, as they measured 10K time, which is done above threshold and doesn't come close to depleting glycogen stores.  So- not sure what's going on here.  Interesting test tho'

Heavy afternoon workout and a low carb dinner produced improved performance.  (same amount of carbs overall, just going to bed with low stores and running off fats in the am)

i think this is all garbage.  i'm n=1 but i can tell you with certainty that when i don't feed myself, i don't perform well in the long term. and that means tons of carbohydrates.

Energy bars and fluid replacement drinks have their place – and will surely be the subject of future reviews – but there is nothing quite like the immediate lift an energy gel can provide.
