Subject: Sciatica pain
I have recently developed sciatica, where the agony is in my left leg. Has anything like this ever happened to you? And if so, what did you do about it? Will any physiotherapy treatment help for this? Any counsel would be great.

I have had the occasional bout of sciatica over the years. I have found that a good chiro helps( http://www.physiomed.ca/treatments/chiropractic/) but the most important thing you can do is keep your body active. Also ask the physician if an inversion table is okay for you.
Hope this helps http://www.spine-health.com/wellness/exercise/sciatica-exercises-sc...

Yes, a good physio can help a ton. First issue will be decreasing the inflammation in the area. Second is finding out why the scaitic nerve got compressed in the first place. Then usually PT can help it from returning. Usually due to tight butt muscles and muscular imbalances.

I'd noticed occasional pain in the back of my left leg once in a while when running. The pain is now running from my buttocks to the knee. I am having occasional back aches too.
